I look at books, first, based on the cover. I feel that if the author puts enough effort into their book to try to grab my attention with the cover, then they will have put a lot of effort into their story. I began reading at a very young age, so it takes a lot for the book to get my attention.
So, we're going to vote on book covers. I'm going to put up a series of book covers that have appealed to me, and you get to choose the winners:) I would also ask that you email me with great book covers that you have spotted.
